There's one justification for wing placement, though IMO they should be placed on the shoulder, since structurally and biologically that makes, by far, the most sense (not to mention looks the most natural IMO)
i totaly love this..and if dashie couldnt get any more agressive looking boy was i wrong..and the wings moved to the shoulders not only streamlines her but helps that agressive attitude
aj..what can i say..the perfect workin country girl..a lil more meat on her legs is a GOOD thing
as for rarity....very intriguing but id like to make a minor sugjestion..fetlocks on her might work better in her main and tail color...just to add to her "style" and flair...i could be totaly wrong..but its what popped into my head instantly
im totaly with you on that but at the same time its kinda like how a clydsdale can have the "tips" of them darker/lighter or even the same color as there mane and tail....i agree it "might" look a lil scattered tho..but at the same time make up for her lack of "bulk" in her tail..shrug twas an idea ..grins
An interesting take on the pony races. I tend to think of them as different sub-species so that they're close enough to inter-breed (and ergo would be extremely similar on an anatomical level) , but it is nice to see someone try and differentiate the races in a more meaningful way than simply adding wings or a horn.
Not to mention the obvious variety within said races (Big Mac, Fleur, Blueblood, etc.). Even Cadence is markedly more gracile than either of her fellow royals.
Rarity generally strikes me as more squeamish than fragile in general (she does hit things on occasion), but I do like the secondary variations (those hooves & tail). For the most part, though, "What R-F said."
